Arshya Feizi

I am a PhD candidate at Boston University on the job market. I am interested in healthcare operations. My current research explores the behavioral factors and policies that play a role in the overcrowding of emergency departments, and ultimately, quality of care. My work is primarily data-driven, and uses a combination of causal inference, machine learning and discrete-event simulation methods.

I completed my masters in electrical engineering from University of Toronto in 2014, and worked at Analog Devices Inc. for three years prior to joining the PhD program at Boston University.
